Quiénes somos
Caja de Ahorros de Valencia, Castellón y Alicante, Bancaja, is the largest financial institution in the Autonomous Community of Valencia, the parent company of the sixth largest Spanish financial group and the third largest institution in the savings bank sector as measured by total assets. Today, it continues to have enormous growth potential.
The institution is governed by its statutes, as adapted to the Revised Text of the Savings Bank Act, passed by Legislative Decree 1/1997, of 23rd July, by the Government of the Autonomous Community of Valencia, and by its implementing regulations, authorised by resolution of the Valencian Institute of Finance on 6th October 2004.
The institution's registered office is at Calle Caballeros 2 in Castellón. It is subject to the oversight of the Bank of Spain and falls under the aegis of the Generalitat Valenciana. Set up on a permanent basis, it is a member of the Valencian Federation of Savings Banks and the Spanish Federation of Savings Banks. Holder of Tax ID Code (CIF) G-46002804.
It is registered in the Castellón Companies Registry in volume 532, book 99 of the general section, page CS-2749, in the Special Registry of the General Public Savings Banks of the Bank of Spain under No. 2077, and in the Autonomous Community of Valencia Savings Bank Registry under number 4.
